Erasmus Programme for students and staff


1. We are proud to announce that the Warsaw School of Computer Science has been awarded the Erasmus University Charter (extended) valid until 2014 which provides the general framework for all co-operation activities within the Erasmus Programme. Our Erasmus Policy Statement (EPS) is published below.

2. The main deadlines for the Erasmus Programme are:

Leonardo da Vinci Programme for graduates

Our graduates have a unique opportunity to verify the knowledge they gained during their undergraduate studies. The Warsaw School of Computer Science and our Greek partner company, Karalis D. - Anastasakis K. O.E., offer a 11-week internship period for 2 graduates (July, August, September 2010). Study visits for academic teachers, trainers and administrative staff

Our four staff members have successfully applied for a Study Visit within the Lifelong Learning Programme (Catalogues 2010/2011, 2009/2010 and 2008/2009):

  1. The Head of the Office of Career Services participated in a study visit entitled “Vocational Training - a way to employment” organized in Toledo, Spain in May 2009;
  2. An English teacher visited Italy in February 2009 ("Speaking European: teaching and learning foreign languages in Europe");
  3. The Foreign Language Studies Manager participated in a study visit in Bulgaria in May 2010 to find out about “Innovative methods of teaching English for specific purposes and IT”;
  4. Our Placement Officer is due to participate in a study visit in Cyprus in November 2010 ("Using technology for effective teaching of maths, science and technology").

Vulcanus in Japan for students

Five students decided to apply for student placements within the Vulcanus Programme. We keep our fingers crossed for them!
